Jeremy
Davis grew up in Chelmsford, MA and attended Lyndon State College
(VT), graduating in May 2000 with a degree in Meteorology and
minor in Mathematics. While in college, Jeremy interned at the Mt.
Washington Observatory in New Hampshire and Blue Hills Observatory
in Massachusetts, along with working on the education staff at the
Acton, MA Science Discovery Museum. He was also the Public
Relations Director and Vice-President for Lyndon State’s
American Meteorological Society’s club, which received the
national Chapter of the Year in 2000. |
| In June of
2000 he started working for Weather Routing / North Country
Weather as a marine meteorologist, and began working with the news
on TV8 in March, 2002. He is now the North Country Weather Manager
at North Country Weather, and is a Senior Meteorologist with
Weather Routing. He founded the New England Lost Ski Area Project
(NELSAP) which chronicles abandoned ski areas across New England
and New York, which can be visited at www.nelsap.org.
In September, 2000, he became the youngest person ever elected
member of the New England Ski Museum’s Board of Directors.
